An agricultural engineer and co-founder of CDInnov, Albert supports the development, management and evaluation of European projects. His experience with local authorities, agencies and chamber networks underpins an in-depth knowledge of Mediterranean regions.

ALIEM VIGIL

Working together to protect Mediterranean ecosystems.2021–2027 programmeRead about the project

ALIEM VIGIL focuses on preventing, detecting and managing invasive alien species. Cross-border cooperation brings together monitoring, training and experimentation in land and marine transit areas.

Shared technical and financial monitoring

The committee on 24 March 2025 reviewed the detection network, digital tools, learning materials and trap trials. It also adjusted the schedule and approved a reimbursement request. The project demonstrates why scientific activities, stakeholder involvement and administrative management need to move forward together.

Connecting landscapes, heritage and the local economy.2024–2030 strategyRead about the project

CAPA’s tourism plan connects heritage development, visitor flows towards the hinterland and a longer season. Trails, outdoor activities and itineraries contribute to a more balanced offer.

In regional strategy, the challenge is to make priorities actionable: who leads, with which partners and resources, and on what schedule? Our consulting approach puts these questions at the centre of the work. It connects local expectations, implementation constraints and monitoring criteria.

Connecting skills and employment in the Mediterranean.2021–2027 programmeRead about the project

VIA-MARE aims to build a cross-border labour market across Corsica, Région Sud, Liguria, Tuscany and Sardinia. Led by EPCI de Corse, it combines a joint employment strategy, matching jobs and needs, developing the Corse-Emploi platform and recognising skills across borders. CDInnov supports project delivery for several partners.

UNIT-MAB

A planned biosphere reserve, a shared territory.2025–2028Read about the project

From Bonifacio to Asinara, UNIT-MAB connects ecosystem protection, scientific knowledge and local development. CDInnov supports OEC in the project’s technical, administrative and financial coordination.

Coordinating science, partners and deadlines

The June and November 2025 committees organised governance, scheduling and financial monitoring. Pascal Quilici worked alongside Jean-Michel Culioli on technical, administrative and financial assistance for OEC. Monitoring also covers ecosystem services and harmonising partner practices, in connection with the twin project UNIT-GEOPARKS.

UNIT-GEOPARKS

Making geological heritage a shared project.2025–2028Read about the project

Led by the Var Department, UNIT-GEOPARKS brings together geoparks and regions pursuing UNESCO recognition. CDInnov supports this cooperation, from partnership organisation to operational monitoring.

Corte, January 2026: monitoring implementation

On 27 January 2026, the partnership met at the Regional Natural Park of Corsica to review deadlines, deliverables and budget monitoring. Procurement procedures and the following semester’s activities were prepared. CDInnov supports the Var Department in managing this project, continuing a collaboration across several Interreg programming periods.
